  • Helpful Information for Small Paws Clients

    Appointments

We prefer to see you and your pet by appointment, which you may schedule by phone, in person or on our website.

As a full-service veterinary clinic, we sometimes need to provide urgent care to client emergencies, at times delaying our appointment schedule. We appreciate your patience at these times. If you are a client and have an emergency during office hours, please call first before showing up, as we may need to refer you to another facility.

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

    Client Forms

For your convenience, several forms and client education documents are available for download.

    • Our Wellness Guidelines for Dogs and Wellness Guidelines for Cats provide our basic pet health care recommendations
    • Download and review the Post-Sedation Care and Post-Dental Procedure Care guidelines to prepare to provide home care after surgical and dental procedures.
    • Print out and complete a copy of the New Client Information and New Patient Information forms to bring with you to your pet's first appointment.
    • If your pet is scheduled for surgery, print out and complete a copy of the Anesthesia Consent form to bring to your appointment.

You can find links to these forms in the client forms box on the bottom of the home page.

    Payment

Payment is due when services are rendered.

We know that “life happens” and sometimes a large bill can be unexpected. For this reason we are happy to provide many different options for payment.

We accept cash, checks, VISA, Mastercard and American Express.

We also accept “Care Credit.” Please ask our receptionist for a brochure that explains the Care Credit program in detail.
